Company Profile

Founded by our CEO, Manuel Hernández Fumero in 1985. Manuel started his own company after fourteen years of experience and hard work as a Senior Sales Engineer.    

Since our start, Universal Equipment has been growing primary, as a U.S. Manufacturing Representative and/or Distributor Firm inside the Commercial, Industrial, and Municipal areas within the general construction business.    

•     Our Sales staff provides you with the support of mechanical & electrical Sales Engineers.

•     In our Service organization, we have more than three hundred maintenance contracts supported by a  Service Manager, two Service Engineers, sixteen Service Technicians and a fleet of service trucks.

•     We provide installation, start-up services & maintenance contracts for all the equipment that we sell. (See also our Products)

•     we are Approved Equipment Suppliers for:

       Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA).

       Public Building Authority (PBA).

       P.R. Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA & AFI).

In addition to Puerto Rico, our Sales and Service Departments have been involved in consulting, technical services and proposals through the Caribbean Islands.
